Holiness I desire

My Lord and my God
at times I wonder if truly
I comprehend how much
I mean to you

The more I desire holiness
the more I am aware of
my unceasing sinfulness
O how sensitive has become
this soul of mine who no more
tolerate lengthy time away from
the Sacrament of Reconciliation
my one in depth spiritual shower
through which I forget the Love
you are pouring on me
Wash me again
in your Precious Blood!
Wash me Lord!
Wash me Pure
for you
