we call them photos

  we refer them as souvenirs

Written in our journals

 we see them as treasures

Published in books

   we let them be part of history

Memories yesterday

Memories today

Memories tomorrow

Listening

Opposite to pride
               embodies in itself
Obedience breaking
               breaking every barrier
To let forth the showers of
               Humility bathe the soul
Called to listen
               Led to practice it thoroughly
and entrusted the gift of Listening.

Flying around you like bees
Biting you like mosquitoes
creeping in our minds at the
image of horror movies
Let us name them
      one by one
all worries
    and
surrender them
Entirely
   to
God
Let them be crushed
like the serpent
under our Lady's feet

Noises, singers, clappers
