Poem 23 - No end for the greatest ( Weekly Post #2)

No end for the greatest

Like a radio turned on, 1Corinthians 13:8a repeats
As if I had never ever heard it read it or recited it

Like a radio who’s remote is broken, I am convicted
Of a new understanding of Biblical Love True Love

Like a radio compelling you to call in, I am inspired
To pen, to inscribe for us the hidden knowledge of

Love never comes to an end
Is this true? What Love? How?
In a century where more marriages
Rooted in Christ are falling apart

Love, are you really for ever?
Then who are you that we may
Discover embrace you anew
I ponder from the depths of me

Like a radio repeating what was spread, I am playing
here the words of the apostle Paul and loudly reflecting

Love never comes to an end

If Love never comes to an end
No wonder Love must struggle to establish
then Love is more than emotional sparkles

If Love never comes to an end
Aren’t Love and the weather twins
The weather never comes to an end

If Love never comes to an end
In Love then, there is no cul-de-sac
But surely Love has seasons

And St Paul wrote ‘Love never comes to an end’
Then indeed Love never comes to an end
For Love is the greatest

If Love never comes to an end
Truly Love is a divine a person
Love is the Heavenly Father

If Love never comes to an end
Then Love is truth and isn’t Truth a person
Then Love is a person, Jesus Christ

If Love never comes to an end
Then Love is and will always be eternal for
Love proceeds from the Father Eternal and the Son

And St Paul preached ‘Love never comes to an end’
Then Divine Love is the core of a Covenant Marriage
For Love is the greatest

If Love never comes to an end
Though Day and Night may shift
For Love will dwell here forever

And St Paul said: ‘Love never comes to an end’
Indeed Love never comes to an end.
