Dear Readers,
today's poem was inspired by a reflection on the vocation of
the Single Life that was being presented on the Show - the
Catholic View for Women on EWTN. I took the reflection
further on all the graces that are bestowed on a soul that
embraces it temporarily or permanently.

Dear Readers,
I have not had a working computer to post what has been the inspiration of my poems.
Today's poem was inspired by Song of Songs 3:3. It was my devotional this morning.
Therefore, it became my reflection all day long with the whole of the Heavenly Court
to ponder like the Biblical women on the meaning of that passage.

Dear Readers,
today's poem is inspired by a picture of our Lady I have often
times venerated. The same way people rebuke things in Jesus' name,
that picture over the years has been my inspiration in asking her
to crush the serpent with her feet; the serpent being at times difficulties
at school, or at work. So today I finally decide to write a beautiful poem
about it, for she been crushing the serpent of unfocus, of lack of knowledge
in my daily duties lately. Little miracles have been happening daily.

Dear Readers,
today's poem is about what God destines us for at times.
How do we where to go? How do we know what to do?
Today around discussions with my aunties, we were reflecting
on destiny, and how do we walk in God's will for us if we don't
keep reminding ourselves again and again that God is God.
What is destiny? Does it not link with the confidence of Jesus words 'Be not Afraid'
Then, we realise that there is a reason why it is written 365 times in the Scriptures.

Dear Readers,
and yes another week! Today's poem is an inquiry about my identity as a child of God.
I wrote this poem because I keep asking myself this question lately.
I am marvelling at the things that God is doing. I am learning to see things through the
eyes of this amazing Father God in Heaven. I am realizing that there is great joy and
power in remembering every day that I am the child of a King.
All worries fade away. Only joy and the trust that My Father, the King, the Great I AM
is with me till the end of times.
As you noticed, yesterday was a day of celebration so I wrote no poem.

Dear Readers,
Today's poem is actually a prayer, and today's prayer is an act of consecration
that inspired by St Louis Marie de Montfort, St Maximilian Kolbe, Bl. John Paul II,
and Bl. Mother Teresa I wrote.
Today was the day I renewed my consecration to Jesus through Mary after a beautiful
and amazing preparation of ninety-one days. O What a privilege to belong to the mother
of all mothers.
What a joy and an excitement as I had a friend be my witness after the solemn celebration
of the feast of the Assumption at St Anthony Catholic Church - the High Mass in Latin.
It was a priceless moment. It was heavenly moment before all of the Heavenly Court.
Tears of joy were coming down - it was as if I had never been consecrated before. There
was nothing could stop - every particle of my being had waited for this moment.

Dear Readers,
tonight poem's is inspired by the power of a foreign language on us.
To continuously hear someone speak a language that you do not understand.
Or at times you know what it means but you are not able to speak it.
Such is the power of the mass in itself; no matter where you go in the world
you can comprehend what the mass is about; you will simply not be able
to speak it in that language until you have mastered. Your mind learns silence
as your soul begins to express itself more...

Renewed in Mary
Baptismal vows sang
With Mary in and through her
She nurtures me
Giving ourselves
to Jesus through His Mother
What a grace to hold
Let empty myself
Father God Holy Spirit
Come and dwell in me

So let us hold on to the mustard seed.
Poem 71- Today's poem is a reflection on a little unfairness I noticed during the day from someone toward a certain soul. today's poem is inspired by a conversation that rose on immigrants.
It is almost as if at times we expect so much from them. They must
adapt, but we on the other hand maybe find it hard to adjust. It left me

Then if we who call ourselves disciples of Christ cannot get out of
our comfort zones to reach out to the immigrant, who will?
Do we forget that Abraham was an immigrant? that Mary and Joseph
were immigrants? What about the Apostles?

Dear Readers,
tonight's poem was inspired by a conversation that sparked on twitter in regards to Pope Francis commenting that there isn't a deep theology of women in the Church. There were misunderstanding about his comments by some and others took the time to ponder and understood.
My view is in today's poem where I do my best to remind us women who we are in the Church, for the Church, through the Church and with the Church? If Only we were aware of what Christ entrusted to us, we would spend little time fighting / attempting to compete with priests.
So do I agree with our Father in the Lord Francis, of course, it is time we do more... It is time we unpack from woman to woman the theology of women in the Church...
I am loving it :-) To read it, click here

Dear Readers,
it's been 2 days and my pen agreed to fly its way on paper and inscribe the deepest thoughts of my heart.
Inspiration ranged from the Gospel of Luke 12: 13-21 with Jesus warning about accumulating material
wealth and not sharing; Poems 63 and 64.
Then I open myself to pen about the joy that has been flowing from my heart. - The gift of Joy!!! Simply priceless... (Poem 65)
Poem 66 was about the beauty of thinking yet the dangers of allowing our reasoning to mislead us and lead us astray. This resulted from a friendly conversation a sister in Christ and I exchanged, and listening to her again made me realize how little we challenge our thoughts when it comes to reconciling the teachings of Christianity and science. Though I suggested to her to read the book "Faith & Reason" by Dr. Scott Hahn, Icould not resist writing
a Haiku about it...
Poem 67- the poem written today was inspired by the stories of amazing women of faith God has put on my path; I look at them, their faith, how they instill patience, perseverence, prayer and total surrender to God's Will in my Life and I feel enriched by them. I am grateful to God for them.

120 Days - 138 Poems - 18 Posts (Poem 62)
Dear Readers,
today I was inspired by a talk I had an opportunity to hear, and from all the things that were said and done, one thing stayed with me, and tonight's poem is about that one thing.
If God the Father who see us all as His children had to tell you something. What do you think or know that He will say about you as to how much you matter to Him?
Write the answer down - Read it again. Say it loudly. Tape it on a wall. Save it in your phone, your computer because on dry days, on days you can no longer, these words will become your water, the holy water that will keep you going again and again against all odds.
To someone, we are precious more precious than we can ever imagine or think. The speaker well known Michael Chiasson added these amazing words: 'God does not need you. God wants you. He wishes to Upgrade. Will you let Him?'
On Friday, I told you all I had a phenomenal day; See I rarely brag about thing, I usually observe and go on... But that early afternoon, I was actually bragging to someone about how I believe that I matter to God, but then I realise that at first what I thought was a joke that I was cracking was not a joke for Him, through a series of events since that day, He, my Heavenly Father, affirmed that I do matter to Him in ways I had never experienced before. At first it happened in front of those I was boasting in Him within ten minutes of my speaking. He showed in concrete ways where all of us could say that this is a doing of the Lord that I do matter to HimHe has not stopped since then to confirm - Yes Child, you are a Beloved one of mine. You are also a Beloved One of Him...
So I ask you again - what would He say about you?

My dear Readers,
today I wish to thank all those of you who are taking the time to stop by and read.I see that I am blessed to have readers from many places as the map displays all the different countries following.
Today, so much happened. I am not sure where to start, so I will simply focus on the moment that inspired one of the poems - A thorough discussion on the Sacrament of Reconciliation at a gathering sparked the poem of tonight. Let us live convicted! Let us walk the path of Holiness... We are called to be Saints, and the path of sanctity is one of love that requires work: patience, mortification, and trust in God; Let us be aware of things that cause us to compromise God's Love in our life through venial sins that accumulate and become habits. Because God wishes to heal us, renew us and strengthen us, we must not like what has caused us to fall said the speaker. We find ourselves repeating the same sins again and again, because we forget to resolve ourselves to not commit those again. We forget that Jesus resurrected. We forget to hope. In fulfilling our penances, we do our best to not let our weaknesses take over, we surrender to God. Let us be strong, and know the sacrament of Reconciliation washes us and cleanses us.I was really inspired tonight.
Yet dear Readers, there will be lots of writing happening this weekend, and I am excitingly looking forward to it.
Do any of these writings inspire you? Do you agree with some? disagree with others ? Do they inspire to stand and do something you are called to as well? Do share your thoughts I hope :-)
Dear Readers, I am going joyfully to rest...

today I wish to thank all those of you who are taking the time to stop by and read.I see that I am blessed to have readers from many places as the map displays all the different countries following.
Today, so much happened. I am not sure where to start, so I will simply focus on the moment that inspired one of the poems - A thorough discussion on the Sacrament of Reconciliation at a gathering sparked the poem of tonight. Let us live convicted! Let us walk the path of Holiness... 122 Days - 140 Poems - 18 Posts (Poem 60)
Dear Readers,
today was a very eventful day in many ways. Today I reflected on
the passage of Luke 10 with Jesus sending the disciples 2 by 2 and
the vocation of marriage. Yet it was not just a matter of the vocation
of marriage, it was a deep reflection on the institution of Family. I was
exposed throughout the day to few cases of families being broken by
our system - broken like I never thought families could be broken. I
had never fathomed such things. Today I faced a radical side of
services that are meant to help that now are harmful to families.
Today I saw both sides to the coin.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, pray for us.
